DAR ES SALAAM: Oasis Financial Services Limited has named Ms Theodora Joseph John as its new Chief Executive Officer, with her appointment set to take effect on January 2, 2026.

The firm, one of Tanzania’s leading tax and business advisory companies, said the decision reflects its confidence in her leadership and vision as it strengthens its role as a trusted tax hub for clients across various sectors.

Ms Theodora steps into the top role with more than seven years of progressive experience in taxation, financial analysis, and advisory services.

Over the years, she has built a solid reputation for guiding both multinational and local companies through complex tax issues in industries such as manufacturing, construction, transportation, insurance, mining, and oil and gas.

Before her appointment, she served for more than five years as the Head of Technical Services at Oasis, where she played a central role in elevating the quality of the firm’s advisory work and strengthening relationships with regulatory authorities.

Under her leadership, the technical division recorded notable improvements in the depth and clarity of advisory outputs, the development of specialists and managers, and the consistency of strategic support to clients.

Her work significantly contributed to the firm’s success rate in tax dispute representation and enhanced its reputation for technical competence.

Ms Theodora holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Ardhi University. She also completed a Postgraduate Program in Data Science and Business Analytics from The University of Texas at Austin, a qualification that has enabled her to introduce more data-driven approaches to tax advisory and business decision-making within the firm.

The Board of Directors said her appointment aligns with Oasis’ commitment to excellence, innovation, and client-focused services. They expressed confidence that she will steer the company toward greater strategic growth while deepening trust among stakeholders.

The Board congratulated Ms. Theodora on her new role and pledged its full support as she takes on the leadership of the firm.
