KILIMANJARO: A first-time visitor to the country, Anna, a Swiss living in Germany, has praised Tanzania’s irresistible charm, noting that the country’s famous safaris, breathtaking landscapes, and the magnetic energy around Mount Kilimanjaro make Tanzania a destination every traveler should experience at least once.
Anna, who entered the country on Saturday, said that before visiting the country, she had heard a lot about it through the safaris.
“I know that it’s very well known for the safaris. There’s the animal viewing, which is just incredible, and the landscapes. Since I work at a company, a travelling agency in Germany, we’re also kind of selling tours for Tanzania,” she said.
The tourists said that Tanzania has become her third African country she is visiting after South Africa and Kenya.

“While here, I’m going to climb, or attempt to climb it. Not good. I’m going to achieve it. And yeah, I’m doing the Machame route for seven days. Yeah, that is why I’m here,” she said.
She added, “I look forward to the challenge and the beautiful landscape, of course, and just the feeling of climbing a mountain, and just being with myself, with my guide, and the people that surround me during the trip.”
Moreover, she stated that she has been captivated by the warm and caring people of the land.
