MOROGORO: THE Tanzanian government affirmed its commitment to strengthening and expanding collaboration between its Ministry and regional authorities in developing conservation efforts and increasing the value of natural resources and tourism in those regions
The Minister for Natural Resources and Tourism, Dr. Ashatu Kijaji, made the statement today, November 24th, 2025, during the ministry’s tour of Morogoro Region, where she held talks with the Regional Commissioner, Adam Malima, as the beginning of his working visit to some institutions under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism.

In addition, Dr. Kijaji has emphasized that the Ministry will continue to urgently address the challenges facing the citizens, including the payment of compensation for those affected by wildlife, by recognizing the value and dignity of the citizens.
Minister Dr. Kijaji was accompanied on the visit by the Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Tourism, Hon. Hamad Hassan Chande.
