DOHA: PARADING the country’s rich attractions, Tanzania is taking part in the Qatar Travel Mart, which has officially begun today, November 24th, in Doha.
Tanzania aims to increase awareness of the country’s tourist attractions among the people of Qatar, a market of high-income tourists.
Representing the country as a whole, a team of members from the Tanzania Tourism Board (TTB) arrived in Qatar, saying that they are ready to showcase Tanzania’s attractions while inviting stakeholders to visit Tanzania’s pavilion at the major tourism exhibition.

“Team TTB is already in Qatar. We extend our sincere thanks to H.E. Ambassador Habibu Awesi Mohamed, the Ambassador of the United Republic of Tanzania to Qatar, for the warm reception.
“Our main purpose for participating in the Qatar Travel Mart 2025 is to increase awareness of Tanzania’s tourist attractions among the people of Qatar, a market of high-income tourists.

We invite stakeholders to visit the Tanzania pavilion at this major tourism exhibition.
Tanzania is ready to captivate the world. You are most welcome to Tanzania,” TTB stated.
The three-day exhibition, which begins today, November 24 to 26, is poised to become the definitive platform for the global travel and tourism industry, where the world’s leading destinations converge to showcase the latest trends in Sports, MICE, Business, culture, Leisure, Luxury, Medical, and Halal Tourism.
The exhibition offers buyers and visitors the chance to discover Qatar’s unique attractions, while connecting with a diverse network of industry leaders—ranging from Destination Management Companies, hotels, tour and cruise operators, and travel agencies, to technology providers, associations, and tourism boards.
