“During this period, the hospital has implemented specialist and specialist services such as kidney, hip, and knee transplants, while it is in the final preparations to start liver transplants,” said Dr Kimambo.

She also added that the hospital is effectively implementing the order not to detain bodies in the hospital because of debts and explained the special procedure currently in use that allows the deceased to take the body of their loved one even if they have not yet paid the expenses incurred during their treatment.

On the other hand, Dr Kimambo has urged citizens to be enthusiastic about the issue of health insurance for all as it will help simplify services and make them receive services on time, and eliminate the inconvenience of being owed debts when their loved ones lose their lives.
