DAR ES SALAAM: ENTREPRENEUR Chris Lukosi says his life journey has been shaped by one guiding principle: never give up.
Reflecting on the loss of his first home due to financial challenges, Lukosi says the experience strengthened his resilience and long-term outlook.
“Failure is not an option,” he said. “If you fall, rise and keep moving forward.”
Lukosi argues that setbacks are part of the journey but should never become a permanent decision. He says many young people abandon their ambitions after early business or career disappointments.

“If you turn back to answer critics, you waste the time meant for progress,” he said.
He emphasizes financial discipline and long-term asset building rather than short-term profit-taking.
Psychology experts note that reframing failure as a learning opportunity enhances resilience and increases the likelihood of long-term success.
“Never say never,” Lukosi said. “There is no way back.”
