TUNDUMA: THE Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Mahmoud Kombo, is expected to receive Zambia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mulambo Haimbe, who will be on an official working visit to Songwe Region.
Minister Haimbe is scheduled to arrive in Songwe today, February 23, 2026, to visit the One Stop Border Post (OSBP) located in Tunduma.
The visit aims to assess the implementation of border operations and strengthen trade cooperation between Tanzania and Zambia.

The tour forms part of the government’s broader strategy to enhance economic diplomacy and promote cross-border trade between the two nations.
