DAR ES SALAAM: TANZANIA, and Portugal are exploring ways to enhance and deepen their cooperation for the benefit of the citizens of both countries.

This comes after the Tanzanian Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister and East African Cooperation, Ngwaru Maghembe, met with Ambassador Rita Laranjinha, Special Envoy of the government of Portugal to Africa, to explore ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.

The discussions took place at the Ministry’s satellite offices in Dar es Salaam. The two leaders explored ways to enhance and deepen the longstanding international cooperation between the United Republic of Tanzania and the Republic of Portugal.

During the meeting, Mr Maghembe and Ambassador Laranjinha emphasized their commitment to further developing this partnership for the benefit of the citizens of both countries.
