MKUU: A newly constructed Mwalimu Stephen Moshi Technical Secondary School in Rombo District, Kilimanjaro Region, is emerging as a key hub for practical skills training in the country.

The school is part of the government’s drive to strengthen vocational education and expand youth employment opportunities.

According to the Ministry of Education, today (February 19, 2026), the school is among several vocational institutions built nationwide to equip students with hands-on knowledge and marketable skills to improve employability and self-reliance.

The ministry added that the initiative forms part of the implementation of the Education and Training Policy 2014 (2023 Edition), which prioritizes practical education as a pathway to building skilled human capital, enhancing productivity, and supporting national development.
