DAR ES SALAAM: CCBRT has entered into a strategic partnership with CRDB Bank to expand inclusive financial services and increase the participation of people with disabilities in economic activities.
The initiative aims to remove barriers to banking services and employment opportunities for people with disabilities across Tanzania.
Speaking during the signing ceremony in Dar es Salaam, CCBRT Executive Director, Dr Brenda Msangi said the partnership will strengthen CRDB’s capacity to become a more inclusive employer and service provider.
Through the collaboration, CCBRT will offer professional training, infrastructure accessibility assessments, policy and employment system improvements, and staff capacity-building to ensure people with disabilities receive equitable and effective services.
Dr Msangi added that the initiative will promote financial inclusion and inclusive economic growth by creating greater access to employment, entrepreneurship, and financial services for people with disabilities.
She also encouraged other institutions to emulate the partnership between CRDB and CCBRT in building a society that provides equal opportunities for every Tanzanian.
