SONGEA: PRIME Minister, Dr. Mwigulu Nchemba, along with Speaker of Parliament, Mussa Zungu, attended the funeral mass for the late former Peramiho Member of Parliament, Jenista Mhagama, held today, December 15, 2025, at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Abasia of Peramiho, Peramiho Parish, in the Archdiocese of Songea, Ruvuma region.
Dr. Nchemba attended the mass representing senior government leaders, accompanied by the Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office, William Lukuvi.
The mass was also attended by members of the public, government officials, politicians, and friends of the Mhagama family, all paying their final respects.

Jenista Mhagama served as the Member of Parliament for Peramiho and passed away on December 11, 2025, due to heart-related illness while receiving treatment at Benjamin Mkapa Hospital in Dodoma.
