DAR ES SALAAM: THE Dar es Salaam Regional Commissioner, Albert Chalamila, has today, February 25, 2026, met with the Governor of Maniema Province from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Mussa Kabwankubi Moise, who visited his office accompanied by his delegation.

During their talks, the two leaders agreed to strengthen cooperation in various areas, including economic development and security, between the Dar es Salaam Region and Maniema Province.

In the conversation, the RC noted that Tanzania and DRC are long-standing neighbors and friends, a relationship reflected by the presence of many Congolese citizens living and engaging in economic activities in Dar es Salaam, particularly in trade.
