DAR ES SALAAM: Public health education materials targeting young people have been revised to improve clarity, accuracy, and effectiveness in addressing issues affecting adolescents and young adults across the country.
According to the Content Review Committee (CRC), the updated series is aimed at learners aged 17 to 25 in schools, colleges, and youth programmes, focusing on mental health, substance use, and other risky behaviours
It is said that the revision was intended to make the information more relevant to everyday experiences while ensuring it remains scientifically accurate and easy to understand.
Speaking on behalf of the CRC Secretary, the Assistant Director of Public Health Education, Maxmillian Kwangu said the review process strengthens the quality of information reaching the public.
He said accurate communication is essential in preventing misinformation and helping young people make informed decisions about their health and wellbeing.
