DAR ES SALAAM: Bolt has appointed Tanzanian executive Mr Milu Kipimo as Regional Manager for Africa at Bolt for Business, expanding his responsibilities from overseeing several key markets to leading the company’s corporate mobility operations across the continent.
The appointment comes as Bolt seeks to strengthen its position in Africa’s growing business travel market, where companies are increasingly adopting digital transport solutions to manage employee mobility, reduce administrative costs and improve travel efficiency.
Mr Kipimo previously served as Senior Country Manager, overseeing operations in South Africa, Tanzania, Tunisia and Ghana.
He joined Bolt in Tanzania in early 2018 as one of the company’s first employees in the country and has played a central role in expanding its footprint.
Since 2021, he has led the launch and expansion of Bolt for Business in Tanzania, helping establish the platform as the country’s leading corporate mobility service by growing its customer base and building local operations.
In his new role, Mr Kipimo will oversee business development across all African markets where Bolt operates while supporting the growth of local teams.
