ZANZIBAR: ZANZIBAR President and Chairman of the Revolutionary Council, Dr Hussein Ali Mwinyi, has sworn in Hemed Suleiman Abdulla as the Second Vice President of Zanzibar.
Hemed Suleiman Abdulla has been reappointed to the position for a second term under the Eighth Phase Government of the Zanzibar Revolutionary Government.

The swearing-in ceremony took place today at State House, Zanzibar, and was attended by various leaders, including officials from the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar, religious leaders, heads of defense and security institutions, as well as family members.
