RIYADH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has pledged to strengthen its bilateral ties with Tanzania by supporting the Tanzanian government’s youth empowerment efforts, as outlined by Tanzania’s Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Ambassador Mohammed Thabit Kombo.
The pledge was made in a discussion between Tanzania’s Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Ambassador Mahmoud Thabit Kombo when delivering a special message from President Samia Suluhu Hassan, to the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud.
Accompanied by Tanzania’s Minister for Information, Culture, Arts and Sports, Palamagamba Kabudi, they were received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Waleed bin Abdulkarim El Khereiji.

Receiving the message, Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Minister said their kingdom recognizes and values the longstanding and strong diplomatic, commercial, and cultural relations between Saudi Arabia and Tanzania.
Moreover, he said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will continue to work closely with Tanzania to further strengthen their relations, particularly in the areas of youth, culture, trade, investment, tourism, education, employment, and other areas agreed upon by the two countries.

Meanwhile, Ambassador Kombo also delivered a special message from President Samia to Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said of Oman, where the leaders discussed continuous relations between Tanzania and Oman.
