DODOMA: THE Mining Commission has continued to raise public awareness of the vast opportunities available within Tanzania’s mineral sector, encouraging citizens and industry stakeholders to actively participate in various activities along the mineral value chain.

Speaking during the ongoing Public Service Week Exhibitions at Chinangali Park in Dodoma, officials from the Commission highlighted a wide range of investment and employment opportunities available in mineral exploration, mining, mineral processing, smelting, and the provision of goods and services to mining operations.

The exhibitions have provided an important platform for engaging with members of the public, offering practical information on how Tanzanians can benefit from and contribute to the sustainable development of the country’s mineral sector.

Visitors to the Mining Commission’s pavilion are receiving guidance on licensing procedures, investment opportunities, value addition initiatives, and the role of local content in enhancing participation by Tanzanian businesses and communities.
