DODOMA: The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Transport, Prof Godius Kahyarara, has hailed Tanzania Standard Newspapers (TSN) for its efforts in informing the public about development activities being implemented by the government.
He emphasized the importance of State-owned media company to continue to provide information that enhances public understanding of various development projects and programmes.
Prof Kahyarara made the remarks after visiting the TSN pavilion at Chinangali Park grounds in Dodoma, where he received briefings on the various services provided by the company through its newspapers and digital platforms.
While at the pavilion, Prof Kahyarara was informed about the digital improvements undertaken by TSN aimed at delivering news to citizens promptly, accurately and through modern technologies.
TSN continues to participate in the ongoing Public Service Week Exhibition in Dodoma through its pavilion located within the Ministry of Information, Culture, Arts and Sports exhibition area, where members of the public have the opportunity to learn about the company’s various services and products.
Members of the public, institutions and other stakeholders are encouraged to visit the TSN pavilion to learn more about its services, obtain information on its various publications and explore opportunities to advertise their products, services and businesses through the company’s media platforms.
