
DAR ES SALAAM: THE Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi is expected to begin a state visit to Tanzania on July 18, aimed at deepening bilateral cooperation, expanding economic partnerships and strengthening the longstanding ties between the two countries.
According to a statement issued by the government Communication Unit, President El-Sisi will visit Tanzania at the invitation of President Samia Suluhu Hassan.
During the visit, President El-Sisi will be officially received at the State House in Dar es Salaam, where the two Heads of State will hold bilateral talks on a wide range of issues of mutual interest, with particular focus on enhancing economic cooperation and exploring new areas of collaboration.
“The two leaders will also jointly address a press conference to brief the media on the outcomes of their discussions and outline their shared vision for further strengthening relations between Tanzania and Egypt,” part of the statement read.
Additionally, the statement noted that the visit will culminate in the Tanzania-Egypt Business Forum, to be officiated by Presidents Samia Suluhu Hassan and President El-Sisi.

The forum is expected to bring together business leaders, investors, private sector representatives and senior government officials from both countries to explore new investment opportunities, strengthen trade partnerships and promote sustainable economic growth.
According to the statement, the visit underscores the continued commitment of Tanzania and Egypt to advancing their strategic partnership, promoting economic diplomacy and fostering friendship and cooperation for the mutual benefit of the people of both nations.
