DODOMA: THE Dodoma District Commissioner, Jabir Shekimweri, has inspected the progress of construction at Msalato International Airport as well as the Outer Ring Roads project and expressed satisfaction with the work done so far.
Accompanied by the District Security and Defence Committee, Mr Shekimweri stated that the pace and level of progress were impressive.
Additionally, he commended TANROADS for the significant strides in implementation, noting that the projects are crucial for economic growth and improving transport infrastructure in the nation’s capital, Tanzania.
“I am satisfied with the progress of the Msalato International Airport construction as well as the outer ring roads. These are major strategic projects for the development of Dodoma and the nation at large,” he said.

Meanwhile, TANROADS’ Head of Development Projects in Dodoma Region, Engineer Colman Ramadhani, said the airport infrastructure construction has reached 83 per cent completion, while building works stand at 67 per cent.
Moreover, he said that TANROADS will continue closely supervising the project, working day and night to ensure completion within the planned time frame.
