DAR ES SALAAM: KONCEPT AI Academy has marked another significant milestone in its mission to accelerate practical Artificial Intelligence adoption across Africa following the successful delivery of a high-level AI Masterclass for the Hospitality Industry in Rwanda.

The executive-focused masterclass brought together hotel owners, General Managers, Heads of Departments (HODs), and senior industry leaders from some of Rwanda’s leading hotels to explore how Artificial Intelligence can transform hospitality operations, customer experience, marketing, revenue generation, productivity, and strategic decision-making.

The programme forms part of Koncept  AI Academy’s broader commitment to equipping African leaders, businesses, institutions, and governments with practical AI capabilities required to compete and thrive in an increasingly AI-driven global economy.

Beyond delivering practical AI knowledge to hospitality leaders, the Rwanda engagement has strengthened Koncept’s strategic relationships and engagements with key institutions and stakeholders, including Mount Kigali University, Royal FM, Paramount Kigali Hotel, and stakeholders within the Government of Rwanda.

These engagements represent an important step towards building a wider ecosystem for AI education, digital transformation, innovation, and institutional capacity development across Rwanda and the broader African continent.

Koncept AI Academy’s expansion from Tanzania into Rwanda reflects a vision that extends far beyond national borders. The Academy is positioning itself as a catalyst for practical AI transformation across Africa and beyond, ensuring that organisations and decision-makers are equipped not simply to understand Artificial Intelligence, but to apply it effectively to real-world challenges and opportunities.

Through specialised masterclasses, executive training programmes, institutional capacity-building initiatives, and strategic AI transformation programmes, Koncept AI Academy is working to bridge the gap between emerging AI technologies and their practical application within African industries.

The Academy’s programmes are designed to empower executives, entrepreneurs, professionals, institutions, and public-sector leaders with the knowledge and tools needed to integrate AI into operations, improve efficiency, unlock new opportunities, and build organisations prepared for the future.

Speaking on the Academy’s continental vision, Dr. Krantz Mwantepele, Founder and CEO of Koncept Group, said:

“Our vision is bigger than one country. Through Koncept  AI Academy, we are taking practical AI education and transformation across Africa and beyond. We want to empower leaders, businesses, institutions, and governments with the knowledge and capabilities they need to compete in an AI-driven future.”
